Just read march rules and these ones again not alot of diffrence so i think we should be able to sort this out fast so we can get on with what we all want to do , RACE AND HAVE FUN , so come on lets sort it out, i love going to other tracks and having a laugh with you all ,this can only get better for everyone, i could be wrong but i can see 3 diffrences what are
rule 1
rule 15
racing rule 11
so if we are happy come to a ruling on these we can get on with it .

OK so can we agree on the rules edited by FORM. as we pioneered it ?? and we can all get together after an initial period just to refine them before it gets taken to the BRCA?? We all have to make a compromise here or there! The 3 rules that are not the same???!! There is time to reinforce your opinion. Lets just run with it. The rules are tighter and less open, and easier to apply, which is what everyone wanted.
If you have specific concerns please voice them hear for others to see and explain yourself. |

I would be happy to see that the no added weight rule was made to , the car must not exceed 1900g so that we can all be the same but dont know how much a hpi weighs , so if under then that would be fine to.
and that the racing rule was change to if your car goes into middle of the track then a ramp maybe used to get out of at there own steam ,
again i cant speak for anyone else but thats what i would like to see, and yes the rules are alot better than befor and your right we need to get this done so we can go to the brca with them , not trying to upset anyone or putting this class down, just want it to be fair for all so we can get on with it and get this year under way and have some fun |

rules seem ok to me,but why can we not use 2cell 7.4v lipos?? there is no speed advantage as paul let me use one the other week just you can get 3 races out of battery, just and suggestion as the way batterys and new products are changing thought it be an idea to let us use them |

If we have a weight limit it would have to be a minimum as dougal pointed out, if you look at the 1/10th touring rules on then brca electric board the only have min. weight limits. Lets not overcomplicate things. No bias weights, so chassis as supplied with hopups but no added weights front, rear or overall to gain an advantage. Sorted and simple. |

I think its time someone pointed out some of the people we all owe a debt of gratitude for, getting us to this stage with the Brisca Drift.
Yes it was Kens idea, and what an idea! Its time was right and th e10 was so cheap at the time at about £65 it was the ideal choice for conversion. Ken still makes his shells from ally but i realised if this was going to grow beyond our club a production shell was needed. This is why the abs shell came about.
Bazza Bates literally badgered me to run the briscas at form. It seems everyone forgets he is responsable for us running them. Ipswich didn't want to run them and at the time they had nowhere to go.
Peter worked tirelesly to promote the formula, with all his hard work we quickly went from 6 to over 20 racing. He is still promoting the formula through his club at Foxhall in ipswich.
Pete, Hoody, Ken, Dougal and others burned the midnight oil after race meetings to formulate the origional rules, which we all agreed on. Whilst I began to promote the formula to a wider audience.
The first big meeting for the Briscas we held was SSS, this was a real test for our I-lap system which FORM pioneered in the UK.
The rules we now have in place are an adaptation of the origional, with only minor changes.
We have something great, at its worst its great to watch when your car is broken, ask baz, at best its close, fair racing. Well done all of us. So lets get on with having some fun. |

Glad to see this is a different message to what i read last night.
Nobody,s knocking anything that anybody has done in the past , people are taking it to personal we just needed to dot some i's and cross some t's to get as close as we can to a level playing field which will be the to the good of the formula, at March to night we had 18, i could not make it as i had a leaving do to go to (mine) but i think within the next 2 weeks i think we will have over 20 on a club night. I dont care who started it, i am glad they did but all i want to do is race and have fun on equal term's with 20 + other's.
