heats

Theres a lot of talk about Drivers at Different standard and cars being hit.

What about the top 6-7 drivers on day of booking in goes in heat 3 the next 6-7 go into heat 2 and the Bottom drivers go into the first heat.
All drivers same standard, and should learn more and be better racing in each heat.
Yes its repetitive but is that what you want, Its easier for drivers to know what heat your in, Its easier for Chris to sort out the Heats etc.

The winner of C final goes back out into the B final and the winner of the B final goes into the A final, The and the following week The Bottom of the A Final goes down to Heat 2 and the Bottom of the B final goes down to heat 1. Its just that Simple
A round Robin that YOu know you have to do well to Work up, But at the Same time A top driver By rights should be able to Drive to the A final from The C final.

That way you always have something to Aim for Better yourself etc, Which is just what Dan was on about. Also it takes away the Pain that Hoody was talking about,You should end up with Not  so many Damages which is what James was Talking about, No one has to worry about Chris Handwriting( Its CLINT not well never mind) And gives EVERYONE a goal.

The only Problem is The likes of Rolphy, steeley and anyone you goes on Holiday, But then surely thats part of it Reward the Ones that are at the Club week in week out.And they could always Work thorough The Heats.

Its only a Idea Just wonder what people Think.

i agree bas we need to sort something out wednesday evening if possible.

Emmm i dont know about this i like the way it is at the moment with the way the points are worked out we all stand the same chance of getting into the A, to drive with the slower  ones also gives you some good driving skills as well as the slower ones with the faster ones so thay can try and learn the art of it , but only my thoughts, i dont mind how you go about it just got to make it fair for all .

The whole point of the brisca's was to mix it up, it is not a non contact class, so I don't think it matters. Sometimes you'll be in with slower less experienced drivers, sometimes you'll be in with the top drivers. That way it is is completely fair, and that is how it will stay. Oh and yes i know my writing is artistic and open to interpretation.

As for the unlimited drifts i agree, as many have spent a lot of time, and money on pimping their cars. Novices should race with novices etc.

I think the way Wednesday drifts have been running is very good and racing the same drivers in every heat would be mind numbingly boring. If you are a good driver you have race craft and can avoid some crashes. Yes I think the race control should watch and sort any major contact out there seems to be a start race and then look back when it has finished. There are some people who takeout one person time and time again this needs watching. I will hold back some of my view's on this one so not to start stone throwing.

To sum it up we need a race director to keep an eye on ALL the evenings racing and dedicated times for each type of race during that evening with max 8 cars at a time for 3min practice.

Well said. Keep it how it is!!!!!! Why spoil things. Just get set up/booked in asap and we maybe able to get in an extra heat.

Question now who can that be  Question cant be me cos i dont just pick on just one i like to share it all about  Laughing but yes i have no problems when we come over on weds just a good laugh and loads of fun with good racing what could be better , top club , keep it that way  Wink

i agree with every body if you remember back a few months ago we raced the same people all the time & then they all complaned & said why do i keep racing so&so all the time just remember in the real world of oval racing you learn your race craft by racing with the better drivers i have had to learn just like james ,steely rolphy,even kenny & dave c leave it as it is stop moaning or as my mum would say shut up watch liston & learn

Chris Iam so sorry I thought It was a NON CONTACT class,Thats one of the reasons why I left a while ago, being told "if you make contact with someone and its deemed deliberate you will be Excluded " now I know its a Contact Class thats Great for me,Cause as I have always Said I could not give a Toss about this class, I Love hitting people and seeing them spin in this class only, And will now Follow EVERYONE in and spin them, But I understand that some take it serious and enjoy it Like I do with Rods, Legends and the new class, Thats why I have being Apoligising when I hit people in this class, But Now I dont need to LOL.

I was just going by what the Rules said, That comment alone will sort a Lot of the Moans out, some I thought were aimed at me,I didnt wish to offend anyone but I just cant take this Seriously LOL.

ITS A CONTACT CLASS STOP MOANING, LOVVL,

And as for me Superb Bloody Dooper LOL. Its time to get a Hoody bumper.

when we were running The winner of C final goes back out into the B final and the winner of the B final goes into the A final that was better for me i think as you have something to aim for through out  the night. as or the number of cars on the track at one time i think this should be lowerd to 5 or may be 4 i dont no?

Light contact is allowed, spinning out on the corner, excessive contact and following in is NOT allowed. Thems always been the rules.

Apart from being stuck behind the computer, and a limited view of the track, with the paperwork, i have very little time to watch any racing. If the contact is going to be policed we need to nominate someone able to watch and report back to race control.

i think hoody noes qwite alot about that kind of thing so if hoodys up for watching and reporting back to race control he would be a good nominee

I agree that it would be useful for someone to keep an eye out for deliberate running in. Apart from that we'll carry on as we are, no rule changes for the racing, no format changes. Steely, make me some of those side bars please!!!
