Hi Chris as to the topic says good times ,i have had a few over yours  great club and people many thanks for that but now with the new rule that brushless is allowed then im sorry to say i wont be racing over there with them hope it all goes well with your club and still grow but cant afford to get into that , sorry best of luck to you all .
admin

Rolphy we as aclub will not be running brushless we will have one car  to test it but it will not score points etc
scooby

So the new rules are out but we will not run to all of them Question
Dose this mean there are club rules and national ones
admin

As with other formulas some clubs may  alter the rules to suit the best example is 1/12th banger every club runs a diffrent interpretation of the Brca rules but all should run to the same rules at a national. The one thing to remeber is that cheats and rule benders get found out eventualy
scooby

So if you build a car to national rules you may not be allowed to race at some clubs.
This makes great sense let have separate rules for not each club but for each car
No points racing if you cant go from club to club
Showily national rules should if your car is built to them allow you to race anywhere brisca drift race

Hence why this brushless motor will kill this great class if allowed to be used befor the end of the year , why oh why dose this happen lets get it going , numbers of people was getting one of these cars growing so fast and now with reading all this bad chat about them or us will be putting them off, so easy to see how to fix this befor it gets out of hand if not already done , have seen other rules on another site what look prity spot on or the old ones was ok just needed tidying up but no lets just try and put people off what was a great class of car and so much fun  Mad
Dan symonds

we will not be running brushless systems untill proven and much later on in the year! chris james and myself will be testing one indervigual car witch will not score race points at all! hence test car! lets not all fall out once again over rules lets see us all back at the track have some good raceing once again. lets disside on moters and tyres one and for all and be done witch it. i will speck to james and chris ect and see if we can get every one to stay behind on wednesday evaning and get a final answer to tyres and moter polls witch will deside the final out come on the evening to put every ones brains at rest.
sean

Keep brushed motors. They are cheap, widely available and keeps the class simple.I can understand using new technology but use it in the unlimited class.
dougal

hi dan if you remember we did a poll on motors & tyres off witch the 23 turn motor came out on tops & the ansman tyre allso came out on tops you were at our little meeting the other sunday you would have heard most of us speaking about brushless system witch some of us didnt want but chris & james said it was the way forward for reliabilty now reading on this forum people dont to go with brushless witch is up to them i know i wont but thats just me just remember this is a FUN SPORT/TOY CARS not wallet / cheque book racing or it will end just like every other forms off rc racing
rolphy

Dont understand how this has all come about , there is a poll on motors 21 and 23 turn and now a brushless is here same as a 12turn i think it says ,not even your unlimited class has that turn motor only 19 so cant see what is going on i know we need to move forward with whats out there but lets walk befor we run of the rails , me and steeley come over to yours to have a go as to we like what we see and thought it was the nuts as we do now , but we come back to our own clubs to show off this great class and within weeks we have loads of intrest and people that have them now with the help of one or two others getting this off the ground at our end, numbers are good and still growing like ive not seen befor in such a long time lots of happy faces and fun all round, now to over night fall down a big hole so sad about this and not sure if i want to try and keep it going myself might just put on a shelf or sell it, the way i feel at the moment i just hope that this is put back on hold till we are all  ready to move on , again just my thoughts ,sorry for the moaning
