Brisca Nats Make a Difference

Can I suggest once we have the prize fund in place for the Nats, that we give the rest of the income from the brisca Nats to charity?

I bought our local free monthly paper with a mate 2 years ago. This has allowed both of us to give back sizeable sums to the local community ever since. That has been fantastic ! We choose that to be on the quiet, so little or no publicity.

My eldest son, Connor has autism, some of you will have raced bangers with him. Thanks Gaily for understanding when he badgered you on the pc.

Autism seems to be rarely out of the news. Reasearch now suggests it is genetic. It has as far as I know, been nothing to do with the MMR. I would like to give any profits from our E of E competition to the autistic society.

It sems everyone has their own agenda on the brisca Drift. Different rules, arguments, etc. If you would like to be involved in our next competition and do some good, then please come and join in. Here and now with this competition.

The more we get turn up each week the more we can give to the N.A.S the National Autstic Society. Put your rivalry aside for the benefit of others PLEASE, there are more important things in life. The N.A.S. relies solely on donations. Lets make a differance.

When we thinking of National dates Chaps ?
Rules seem to have setteled down
Clubs that could run a round
Sleepy Hollow (BOO!!)
March (the home of the Fen Tigers)
Trimly (the home of Bazzer's boys)
Spedeoval (the home of John Smith)
Foxhall (the home of the ipswich witche's)

As for the charity side of things this year we could set the entry fee at £7 each (£5 for the club and £2 per driver to the charity that each clubs wants) Trophys for the first three only A FINAL and for the 1st place in B/C Finals
All these tracks within 2 hours of each other lets get it on.....

Thats 5 rounds  we need to get together on this one and make it happen learn from this year ready for a big one next year..
Put your idea's out now !!!!

Rules

We need to uniform the rules first, To many variations, as you know mate I have come up with what I think is the best solution for all and all clubs I think  would have to only change 1 or 2 rules, but allowing alot more cheaper motors to me is a comprise that goes without saying, I know on what has been passed around in emails all clubs except 1 has agreed if I am not mistaking, so come May 1st you could start planing, and Yes what great thing to give back, but that also has to be agreed as all people have there own Chosen Charity for Personal reasons, so maybe divide the charity money into 2 charities, As I for one Never(well not in the last 12 years) give money that Test on Animals.

oh just one Thing its Trimley Tigers after the Award winning Cycle Speedway team that we had LOL.

sorry been thinking in the Bath

Dont forget a couple of other things, Pete Rose has been working hard to get other clubs invovled do you want them this year say a cut off date that all clubs must express a wish to run a round, also Name I call it V8/Brisca drifts, Because I belive( I dont know enough about this to comment fully) That because Foxhall run at a Spedeworth track and They are associated with V8s, Also do you want all Rounds to run on a weekend ? say Friday Night,  Saturday or Sunday, Do you want to be able to drop a round, So that if someone cant make it Because of work,(which lets be honest is the most important thing at the moment) etc.

You could have a Open forum  on a new website with the Instant comment board like some other websites have so ALL drivers have a say, but with 3 or 4 people acting as Moderaters for a set time scale say 2 hours on a Saturday Afternoon between 1-3.and then the website can be kept on line but the Board disabled from then on.
