Hope there's going to be seperate class's for brushed and brushless as they are miles apart Why do we need to go brushless This wll split the class before we get going i just don't get it

As with money being so tight for me, i dont like the thought of racing against a mod motor be like running a banger beside a brushless hot rod sorry thats not for me , was so happy with the class but now i dont know what im going to do just think it is a waste of time trying to have fun
thought the rules was going be be made clear not changed
just think is might not do this class any favors.

use it as a test period for the future we can all monitor it to way up the costs and if it proves not to suit our needs we can remove it.
this is a great proving ground and we can all have our input to make it grow
please bear with us we can and will change if it does'nt suit

brushless upset people again
people dont like change i must say i,m not to shore, but if people had not been using speedo,s over rmp in the class this may have never been changed
by breaking/streching rules they then have to be opened up. stopping miss use of the rule book
may i ask how you tell tyers apart

So brushless is the answer then Don't think so it has not help the Hot Rod class and it will not help this one, when Paul used his at Pinkys it was in a different class to every one else and he had got it switched down, go ahead do as you like, we will have a meeting at March to decide what rules we will run for the 09 season. Lest's all run different rule's, that will make for a national series, which is what i though we were trying to do.
Why was there no poll or something like that for this ????????
I am not anti brushless but i think we have a good basic package, number's are growing every week, i will let you have the feedback from the March member's..

The rules are up for discussion aren’t they?
Or where some where on hear
But the people writing the rules did not get very much feed back.
As new clubs are starting we needed some thing put in place to stop lots of different ruling.
There still must be time to talk.

brushless have no problem with ,but i do in this class is to why do we need it and yes the rules needed to be tighter and cleaned up as to a few of us was not complying to it so yer all for that but not sure what advanteage you would have with a esc but there you go .

Its not a case of advantage is a case of rule bending.
I’m not up for brushless totally.
so I’m going out to try and beat them on the track to prove there is no advantage

Best of luck mate might not be to bad to do with only a few cars out there cos im not going to try had my nose rubbed in it when we went to pinkys not a chance in hell of beating a brushless but hope you can have fun still with them

Just out of interest you beat a brushless Thursday so it can be done
If you stop racing how can you help the sport forwards.
Its characters like you and others that make the meeting fun.

Thanks for the kind words but its not just about winning races and faster cars its about being fun and having a laugh with the likes of you and others out there but its to soon to bring out a brushless motors as to let this class of car get of its feet and start running to full strength then think about it as to we can run two classes maybe next year or at least have a vote on it or a poll show of hands , as to i love this class and want to carry on with it so much but am not going to if this is allowed sorry but have been here befor with other things .
long live brushed motors

As Paul has said we will be testing it with one car and will moniter the progress the car will be ineligable to score points in our club rounds and championship. We as a club will not be running brushless and other clubs may opt to see what happens

Why test it why change to somethink that works ok just think its is a bad step at this time lets get a year under our belts first and see what numbers we have first then see about it , just my thoughts but not racing bl in this class or with one out there sorry but feel very strong about this james , and you have an unlimited class there so use it in them

We needed to make the rules a little more future proof within the next 5 years the brushed motor will be gone LRP Novak and tekin are all saying this the fact is that if it is a lot faster then it will be banned
