Here we go your chance to have your say on brushless
Club view
We will NOT be running brushless till a testing is compleate this is a minimum of 12 weeks
I will be running the test car along with Chris an possibly Dan we feel the is 3 levels
My personal view
In the last 6 months i have been through 4 moters brushless would stop this. From a financhal view i think it could hit the wallet to start with but would soon be recouped.
Other formulas have been through this debate many times and most are running the brushless if the brushless is excepted then a cap will have to be placed on moter speedo combination.People say brushless is faster and i agree and disagree in 1/10 buggys there is very little diffrence In 1/18th off road the lap times of the brushless cars were slower touring cars ive seen brushless cars getting thrashed buy brushed and this was at regional level

It’s a shame that another controversial topic has reared it’s head at a time when we could really do with things settling down, but I suppose these things have to be sorted whilst the formula is in it’s infancy and still evolving.
My view is that the total cost of a relatively competitive package should not increase, so any brushless system must be proven to give absolutely no performance advantage and be easily policed.
Personally I would like brushless, as I would be prepared to pay a little more for increased reliability and less maintenance, but appreciate that many people who either cannot or don’t wish to spend the extra must not be disadvantaged.
Over to you…

Lets take a step back and think about it, get people in the formula get the series going, and discuss this at a meeting toward the end of 09 season when all voices can be heard, yes we know brushless will come in but we are in the crawling stage's of this formula and yet we are trying to do the 100 metres, as i have said all club's need to be singing of the same hymm sheets can't see that happening if bl is allowed already, have spoken to some March members today all have said no to them for this year. |

Easy answers delete.
12 turn (3300kv) brushless max MRP £25
Then all will be happy this is the only thing upsetting people
Then at the end of the year talk about the brushless |
